- Sub-Zero: Ice on the evaporator points to a defrost heater, sensor, or control fault on that sealed system. We test the defrost circuit directly.
- Bosch: Frost buildup often traces to a door seal letting humid air in or a defrost fault. We check the gasket and the defrost circuit.
- Miele: A defrost or sensor fault can drive buildup. We test the heater, sensor, and door seal.
- Liebherr: Ice buildup can accompany a sensor fault or a defrost issue. We measure the sensor and test the defrost system.
